Charities & Not-for-Profit Organisations
At Hardie Caldwell LLP we aim to provide a focused approach to audit, accounting and business services for Charities and Not-for-Profit organisations.
We recognise that charities and other not-for-profit organisations are faced with complex accounting and regulatory requirements. We have a specialist team that was created specifically to provide the level of support that our clients in this sector require. We call this team our Charities Focus Group.
Our Not-for-Profit Clients
We currently act for 70+ not-for-profit clients. These range from small local organisations to medium and large well-known national organisations. In addition to the audit, accounting and payroll services you would expect, our Focus Group has the specialist knowledge and skills to provide:
- Risk Response Review;
- Education of Trustees' Duties;
- Development & Production of Practical Procedure Manuals;
- Fund Accounting Assistance; and
- Development of Budgetary & Cash Flow Procedures to Monitor Finances.
Your Team
Marion Hopper leads the Charities Focus Group and is supported by experienced members of the Audit Skill Group, including two Managers, three qualified CAs and nine other professionals.
Hardie Caldwell LLP is a registered training office with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and an important part of our training regime is to keep up-to-date with all the latest developments in the not-for-profit sector, for example, the development of the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and SORP 2005. This ensures that we are well placed to advise our clients.
As our client, your dedicated team would provide you with continuity of service and allow you direct access to decision makers in our organisation who know and understand your business.
