Robert Mackay

Robert was a business graduate from Strathclyde University. He joined the firm in 1974 under an ICAS training contract and on successfully completing his training and qualifying, Robert remained with the firm where he was promoted to a variety of positions before being made a partner in 1985. He has experience in a wide variety of businesses, both in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors and now specialises in audit and corporate finance work.

As our managing partner, he is also a member of the Audit and Assurance Faculty, heading up our Pensions Focus Group, and handles a number of the firm’s larger audit assignments.
