We are looking to recruit an IT Manager to join our team. Full details of this role together with specification can be found here.

As a key member of the administration team you will be responsible for various administrative tasks in order to ensure that support is provided to the other skill groups within the company. Working alongside your peers, you will work as part of a team, providing flexible support when needed in line with your skills and capabilities.

As an important client facing role within the company you will be a good communicator and will have the ability to build strong working relations within the firm and externally with clients. Self-motivated, professional and able to work to tight deadlines, you will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities


  • Managing the reception area to ensure that it is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
  • Organising meeting rooms for internal and external meetings
  • Providing teas, coffees and ordering of catering as and when required
  • Ensuring that meeting rooms are clean and tidy after meetings in preparation for future meetings
  • Updating of newspapers, brochures and other marketing materials on display within the reception area
  • Answering of telephone calls and transferring calls as relevant
  • Taking of messages and advising others when messages have been received
  • Scanning of incoming mail in accordance with company guidelines
  • Scanning of client files in line with our document retention procedures
  • Franking of external mail
  • Coordinating the storage of newspaper archives as directed
  • Organising taxis and couriers

Operations Support


  • Coordinating the booking of webinars and training courses as required
  • Setting up and maintaining a training calendar for the firm
  • Updating CPD records in line with training undertaken
  • Sourcing and researching training options in line with sector or regulatory fields
  • Organising facilities required for any training undertaken in house


  • Review website statistics and compile monthly reports as directed
  • Review and update blogs within website
  • Update company Facebook and LinkedIn profiles
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and mailings
  • Assist with the development of a CRM database and maintain such database


  • Duties in respect of company secretarial, such as updating of Companies House
  • Scanning of invoices within software programmes utilised by the company
  • Assisting within the team during busy period with secretarial work, including the generation of fee notes
